I have some enquiries here.

- Does air stewardess needs to have perfect eye sight?
- What kind of dressing is suitable for the interview?

Any one knows? Hope to get the reply soon. Thanks

i dun tink stewardess need to have perfect eyesight coz pilots need not too! straight teeth? maybe not too crooked can already. stewardess is to be in black hair. as for tying hair...they will teach u during training in stc if u are being selected. i guess long sleeve button shirt, a formal skirt, heels will do!

See this is what i mean by SQ hiring cabin crews with the ability to study but with hollow brains when it comes to having own SENSES!!Geez pple..really wish u all luck..u'll need it...And pls, once u are out there flying, don't bring down the company's name by being DUMB...How could one not know how to dress for an interview and another one asking help on how to introduce ureself??What the hell?!!!

non-swimmer

It is a necessity to know how to swim? I was informed by someone that if you cannot swim you 'WILL NOT' pass the stage whereby they ask you to jump from a height of 3M into a swimming pool.

Can you imagine crew who can't swim - I think it'll be very worrying if I had to fly with crew who had no idea how to swim - they are supposed to help passengers if case the plane goes down? If it does, who will rescue us? - Gulp, the degree-holding cabin crew who will refer to their textbooks?

Jesus, I wonder how Singapore Airlines recruit nowadays.

well thats what life jackets are for. In the event of a crash all passengers will be wearing life jackets. Even if there are no life jackets, how many ppl do u think you can save? 10 or 100 desperate non-swimmers clinging onto u for life?
anyway i just want to know if its true that non-swimmers have absolutely 0-chance?
