Going out this Saturday (December 25th) Meet 8:30

Post by sekard » Wed, 22 Dec 2010 11:50 pm

This week we are planning to visit Orchard Road. Meet us at Orchard MRT Customer Service at 8.30 PM.

Lets soke in the festive mood with local food at some popular local food court and quench the thirst with ice cold beer.

Fabian is out of station and call/text me for assistance: Dhana : 8258 6539

did you actually mean "choke" or soak?...i thought it's a bit funny :D

anyways...i guess you already know orchard road and the similar areas will be super, super crowded..going back will be problem due to the traffic jams..mrt and buses will be crowded and lack of taxis etc...

but i admit the mood will be festive at orchard, and it's good experience to know... have fun :)
Salam(peace be with you)

Maybe can not make it this time. Orchard area will be super crowded and I am afraid can not get home unless dawn like on 18th Dec

also maybe can not even walk easily on the street  (my experience at past X'Mas, it is really mad )

New Years Eve?

Post by rdmyers75 » Thu, 30 Dec 2010 6:15 pm

Speaking of crowds, does anybody want to brave the crowd and try to see the fireworks on Friday night? All the Singaporeans I asked say the best place to see them is on TV (cynical bastards), but that you can see them anywhere along the river like the Clarke Quay / Boat Quay area. In honor of Fabian we can get our drinks at 7-11 ;) (Dwayne, [email protected])

Hi everybody,

Thanks for posting and contacting me but I have to apologize for not being super-organized. Nonetheless, my wife and I will plan to be around the Clarke Quay area after 10 p.m. or so. Text me if you are nearby and we can pick a place to meet.
