Hey babe, I just returned from stitch removal... as for the incision.. today after removal of sitch i tot maybe armpit might be a better choise cause i find the cut SUPER LONG and hideous~ Dr nara tolld me it would be at the crease but looking at the size of my boobs, i dun think there would be any crease =((

Did your breast really go down? Mine is like quite small even after implant... and the lines r soooo obvious and seriously quite ugly..

Yar, i didnt asked him he himself told me tt he put in 230 for me. it not BIG now tt it is swelling it looks like Full B to Small C.. i hope it dont go anymore smaller but it can go lower.. lol.. i think NARA dont really do BIG ones.. haha... he always "Natural"... so i guess he also measure the cc based on our frame of our chest and skin elasticity..

I just changed the dressing .. i still got a bit of blood, the plaster i bought is too small for the cut.. omg!! i going out to get some soon...i dun wanna leave it open for too long. I choosed to cut at the bottom of my boobs.. because i scare do armpit cannot do things.. very sore.. can u raise your hands after the op? i wanted to do nipple but he said i cant.. your r 13 days now means u havent gone for bra shopping.. .hahahahahha.. r u excited? so 13th day the size is more or less stablised isit?
mint_leaf wrote: Hi Lacey,

230cc? Hmm.. wonder if they will tell me is I email to ask about my size.. Kinda regret not insisting to know the amount. The size he gave me like not very big leh. Or I am greedy ? Kinda natural.. Maybe a full B or small C. Prefer a big C.. LOL. Hee. Anyway, mine till now still can see my veins all around (I am also quite fair). For the popping sound, it will go away after a few days. I heard them quite alot initially too, now no more. Feels like my real breast tissues now. Cos cant feel the implants when I press around/ massage it.

Yep, go change yr tapes if u can. Kinda uncomfy for not able to shower properly. Nara skills is good, my wounds healed very nicely (according to the local dr) Yrs also done via axillary right ? I cant wait for the scars to heal & fade off.. cos I want to wear sleeveless soon.!
Hi Lacey,

I am feeling ok, still feeling a bit sore at my upper arm area. Can raise arms, no prob. And I tried not to carry heavy things to speed up my recovery. Havent really went bra shopping yet. Will do so much later ba.. How's yr recovery ? I wanted to do crease too, but worried that the scar will be obvious..

Hi Lacey, dr Nara nurse replied me already.. Mine is 230cc. And I feel it's not big enough.. More like a B than a C lor.. Argh.. Kinda disappointed. Now soften & drop a bit already.. But my right side may need a longer time, now still higher than my left and is bigger. I wish it won't go any smaller. Should had request for more cc. No one in my family notice the difference.. Cos it is like not much of a difference :(

i had my rhino done last year with dr putt and now i am facing extrusion of the implant, are there any hospitals in singapore that does removal of the implant, do appreciate your replies.
thanks in advance!

Im facing an extrusion of the implant from Dr nara. Thought of going back to do a revised rhino or maybe with Dr Chi. Im contemplating of having fats to construct the nose rather than inserting implant anymore. Its scary. Extrusion and apparently yellowish liquid oozing out from the bridge area (near the eyes).

Intending of going in before June 2011 , perhaps. I cant apply for a long AL from my job. Just started, only pro rate, not enough time to recover.

Looking for kakis, dont mind male or female. Im a female 23 y/o
huh my friend, how come got the yellow fluid come out? did you go and see singapore PS for that?

for how long does that happen? I just did mine, so far so good wor... mine now is post ops 16 days liao..

:p
Go see Dr. Chi...

he will know what to do....!

then you better look into getting a revision with autologous (rib/ear/septal) cartilage. Once you've had extrusion once with foreign implants, it's not advisable to use it again for a revision.

Hello!

I just did my nose just 2 days ago at Bumgradrun Hospital. The Doctor was Dr Sorawuth. My nose looks gd with abit of swelling and bruises. He used silicone implant for my bridge and nose tip too. I was kinda concerned that i might have extrusion in near future , but he reassure me that it only happen if i used bigger implants and unrealistic expectation. so.... he opt for a smaller implant , i think 1 to 2mm thick silicone.

Any idea how common is extrusion ? 1 in 100 cases ?

Despite his attempt to make you feel at ease, if you take a good look and examine what he's saying, i think there's something to be said about the true safety levels.

He says that extrusion happens when big implants are used, but it doesn't mean there's no chance of extrusion when smaller implants are used. There's always a risk with plastic surgery, and the risk is always more when foreign materials are used.

If you go research how the implant is placed inside the nose, you might be alarmed.

Google for calcification + silicon implants for a whole lot of other complications involved.

i personally believe the reported incidence of extrusion is a lot lower than the true figures, reason being once someone's implant extrudes, he/she probably won't go back to the same doc.

Not trying to scare anyone here, but do your research and come to your own conclusions. The question is, is it realistic to expect some foreign object in a highly mobile AND exposed part of your body to be stable and free of complications in the long term (> 5 years)?

It simply means the silicone implant moving from its original position and poking out.

I agree with cersepn about not using silicone again and using autologous (rib/ear/septal) cartilage instead.
My implant extruded too and I had a revision in Korea in August...I was traumatized by the whole incident (the nose extruding out thing, not the revision) and also by what the plastic surgeon said about the state of my nose (the inside) after the revision.
Totally regretted not going to Korea in the first place.

Thanks Pinkyice, but it is seems like many of us worry about the extrusion here.

I didn't know about this problem before i did. never had come across this..

So sad to hear all this.. I know PS will have it risk, but didn't expect to read this... Scare now don't know what to do in the near future...

do I need to change my implant or save more money to revise a better nose job.

Haiz...

hi macaronincheeze,

actually i consulted numerous of PS, most of them reckon extrusion is possible but chances are quite slim too. Depending on the skills of the PS, size of silicone, differ races have differ thickness of skin too and also abit of luck too ! all in all... its abt 1 to 10% . still.... i still kinda of wary of it thou... btw did u use 5mm or 3mm one ?
