Hi,

Just a question for guys who have went for the interview before. Do we need to produce our cert of service for NS? I don't know where I have placed it. Thanks!

yup you need to bring NS cert, they need to verify that you complete your NS.

How old are you?I'm thinking of trying but it seems that chance are slim.I'm in my thirties, think it will be quite hard.If you are in your late 20s,shouldn't be of any problem.

It will be more advisable for you to look for a more permanent job since you are already in your Thirties. You lose your job in SQ once you are pregnant. You can only fly till 45yrs in SQ then you are out of job.

Hi highon75,

The clinic is called Naaman Skin & Laser Centre. 10 Sinaran Drive #09-27, Novena Medical Centre, Singapore 307506. Tel: 63972833. The subcision procedure cost $200, Consultation cost $75 and Scar Gel cost $44.. Plus GST, in total is $341.30.. Its seriously depends on your condition, urs might cost lesser/more than mine.. And i personally feel it's better than laser... Give it a try! Or u can try NeuGlow too! It's at the same place but it's at level 10...

Upcoming interview on the 6th of Nov!!! I was wrong about the Dec info then.. Sorry guys! Good luck to all !!

dear folks, just to share with u guys on my humble experiences here...
For those who have been wanting to be a cabin crew, its good to ask yourself again and again- do you really want this job that much?
months ago, i was just like everyone here, constantly checking out on the forum/sia website for recruitment/tips etc and going for interviews, failing it and finally successfully made it tru at my 3rd attempt. My understanding of this job was only - smile & serve .
but this job is much much more than that. The culture is one, which requires you to either pick it up or cry like a baby after every flight (when zapping get involves). U ask urself, are you prepare to get harsh/rude words fr ppl u meet for the first time?Ppl who say "I want u to get out of my sight nw/ are u stupid or what?"
2nd, its not an easy job whereby ppl (like me ) perceive as. U practically work like a dog i would say. On an avg,u could do the "squatting-standing" movement for almost 100times on each flight when serving. And your hands get dirty from collecting meal trays/babies vomit etc
To be honest, i was not prepared for all these... all i know is i just serve then i can be paid to shop. But before you enjoy, u put in 200% worth of work/sweat and sometimes even tears.
To sum it up, this is really not a job for "atas" ppl or gers who deem that cleaning toilet is a cleaner job. For those who feel that you can brave this through , then yes, this is the job for you :)
Take care!

Hi to all SIA wannabe, I went for the SIA interview today and got K.O :( on the 1st round. When I got back my application form, I noted a Ref. No: was written on the top right hand side of the form. Do anyone encounter this. Anyone care to share with me.

Thanks
