How is life in woodlands for SAS families?

Post by TravelingCircusof5 » Wed, 10 Nov 2010 5:04 pm

Can anyone tell me about living in woodlands while they send their kids to school out there? We are now at a similar school in china and the school is also way out of town. I do think the kids like the security of living by school and they like the space to play outside, etc. Are there activities at SAS which cause you to go to school often ( after school activities, plays, concerts, baseball leagues?). I hate to be so far from conveniences though. Is there a good international supermarket out there similar to the Cold storage and market place in central areas? Is there anywhere to go out to dinner that isn't hawker center, like a family pizza place, for example? Is it a close knit community out there? Thanks
