Hi everyone, was wondering anyone could help to answer some of my questions regarding staying at Kangning apartment. Is it the norm for them to request for your credit card note so they can reserve the room and charge the cost of one night's stay.

Kangning also provides a limo service for NT1500 from Taoyuan airport to the apartment which is kinda expensive for just one person. For those who have travelled there via taxi, mind advising what is the cost like or sharing if it's feasible to travel there via their buses/ mrt.

cheers
Mindy

I went to Taiwan for holiday on May this year.
Hope this will help u :) I took bus services.
Once u exit from the the airport gates, turn to your left n walk all the way to the end. Look out for Picture 1

Bus services that will drive you to the hotel you are staying.
It will takes about an hour.
Bus driver was friendly, he helped me n my friends luggage to the bus.

I took this bus services - FREE GO BUS
Please note that this bus services will drive you to one stop n ask you to aboard a mini van. Just one time only. But overall, it ok.
If you speak chinese, the bus driver will chat with u n guide u where r all the nice food n places.
I'm not sure if this bus services has a stop at Kangning apartment.
If not, u can alight at the nearest hotel to Kangning apartment.

Tickets TO the hotel was NT140 / USD4.40

Tickets From the hotel to the airport is NT120 / USD3.75 (keep the bus tickets, Lost my tickets n i have to repurchase at the hotel i m staying at NT190)

hi beautiful people :)

I have been following the contents of this forum for over a year and have found it so comforting to know that people are happy to share their experiences.

I had my double eyelids done this year April with a Taipei based doctor called Dr. Albert Soong. His clinic is in the Zhong Xiao fuxing area and to be honest, I'm still unsatisfied with the look of my eyes. Before having surgery done, my eyelids were hidden away behind my thick eyelids. After surgery you could see them a little bit more, but he failed to remove the fat on my upper eyelid that is the main cause for the droop of the eye.

I am looking into having my eyes revised - probably not have my eyelids done again but more so have an epicanthoplasty procedure done, and maybe a lateral z if the doctor agrees.

HOWEVER.. i'm not going back to the same doctor. Which Epi specialist would you guys recommend? I know back on the first page or so, it has been noted that Dr. Su (http://www.dr-su.com) & Dr. Yang (http://www.artwood.com.tw/eyes2.php) are reputable Double eyelid specialists.. i'm having a difficult time deciding and was hoping any one of you kind souls could help me with a decision? i dont know man >_<"

I have family in taipei but do not wish to trouble them to find me another doctor as they were the ones who recommended Dr. Soong.

HELP PLS :)

Hihi,

Maybe you check with Dr.Hsu? He should be ok. Can initially I want to appt with him on the 22nd and change to 20th Dec.

By the way I'm from Singapore. Think of fly in KUL(LCCT) then to TPE. Is much more cheaper. Or else I taking my direct flight via Jetstar. Which is much more expensive. :D

Hi Katie1985, thanks for your reply. Looks like I will have to check out the individual counters when I get there.

For those looking to incorporate a little play before your operation, you can check out this blog on places to visit.
