TKWS wrote:Hi vessy :) I failed cause my blood pressure was a little high at that time. There wasn't any hearing tests if i'm not wrong. I think you can go try it out cause you'll never know. Then you'll not regret right? Don't give up, unless they tell you not to go :) FYI, i'll be trying my luck again after sometime.
Hello TKWS,

Erm did the doc refer u to any specialist for yr BP issues or they just fail u after they took yr BP? One of my fren was refer to National Heart centre cardiologist for further check...Her BP reading was NORMAL when she check with the polyclinic.

Hi kinda,

some of us are very pissed dat we were found to have high blood pressure. Cos none of us knew we had it. And I went to my family clinic for a 2nd opinion. He said it wasnt high! Now i have to go Mount E for further test and I heard it costs abt $800!

I see...why u didn't request for a structure hospital referral instead? Guess it would be cheaper than Mount E

Yup i was asked to go to Mt E for the Xray. the thing is i didnt expect anything... :\ oh well im just hoping for the best now. its my first time and i really am surprised at how far ive come along! it would be disappointing to learn if im rejected at this stage. How was yours?
me and a friend were called up today for scoliosis xray as well.
but when we went down, the clinic staff told us that we had actually done the xray yesterday tog with the rest of the medical checkup :???: so all we did today was settle payment actually.

and i have another friend who had to pay, then go down to Mount E for the x ray. i have no idea why there's such disparities and its really worrying.

but the girl that went to make payment with me, she got the call from mary about 5.30pm today. so i'm really praying hard.

leaaah, did you get to see your xray? did the doc say anything?

@dyeo yeapz..its abit upsetting to know, but a fact that i had to accept, be positive and just try again in future. :D
it was all in a rush and i was the first to walk out of 8 girls, so i didn't really rem. how fitting the attire was..

@TKWS its probably the same feeling u had..but at least u know a reason on not going thru..maybe can try to relax to lower ur BP next time. :D
do u get reimbursed by them even if u didn't get thru the medical?
