What baby items should I stock up on before arriving in Sng?

Post by ReenieMc » Tue, 27 Jul 2010 4:19 pm

Hi,

We are moving to Singapore next month and we have a 1 year old daughter.

Just wondering if there are any items that are comparably expensive in Singapore compared to the UK? Is it true that baby clothes are very expensive there for example?

What would you advise I stock up on, if anything?

Many thanks :)

i've found that everything is expensive here - most stuff is imported. If you baby is 1 and you have a large container to fill I would bring as much as possible - bed, bedrail, sheets, towels, clothing, diapers, potty training items etc...The UK has such adorable storage pieces as well compared to here. We have trouble finding cute rugs for our son other than Ikea and if we do find one it's about 3 times the amt we would pay in the US.
