english tutor, anyone?

Post by cinder » Mon, 04 Apr 2005 9:07 pm

hi all,

after being rejected on the other e-message board, here i am trying my luck..

i am looking for private english tutor to improve my pronounciation in particular and my english in general. as a matter of merely personal preference, i'd prefer brits over other native english speakers.

my friend used to listen to me reading mags and have chatting session (bout latest news and stuff) where he would correct my mistakes. i am thinking to do the same, even tho i am open to suggestion. pretty sure not interested in formal grammar thingy tho.

the fee will be negotiable, but will refer to average language course fee out there. me is female, early thirties (yeah, still cant speak english properly!), white collar, asian, non singaporean.

anyone knows who to contact?

not really sure which section i should post my message, and finally choose this over Job & Career section, since im not really looking for those professional tutors.

thanks in advance!

hi Guest, thanks so much for your offer! what i need at the moment is a tutor that apart helping me to improve my bad pronounciation on certain syllables (due to crappy english basic i got), also helping me with everyday conversation - therefore, i stated that id prefer brits, cos the slank that i need is british'.

this will lead to seoul_for_sale too. however, i might contact you in the end of the day if i couldnt find the brits tutor.

thanks so much for both of you.
anybody has other info who to contact? or anymore takers?
