any activities for schhol age kids in holidays?

Post by vinotarn » Mon, 28 Dec 2009 12:07 pm

Hi, we have been here 6 weeks, I have a 5 and 6 yr old boy and girl.
They can't start school until until the new school year commences in Jan', so we haven't been able to meet anyone with kids so far. They will be going to the Emaar International School. Does anyone know of any group activities, or meet-ups happening that we could go along to? We have been busy seeing the sights, but I feel very sorry for the kids as they have yet to really talk to another child!
I should have done this sooner but though we could manage, it is getting quite hard now tho'! We are in Upper Bukit Timah.
Any help much appreciated! Thanks. :)

Take them to the Zoo, older kids love it there! Also there is a water themed park called Escape theme park. The Botanic Gardens has a kids area or the Science museum if they are into that sort of thing. I know it is hard when most people are off school but I hope those give you some options.
