Nara said he only do a bit of alar for me and the implant he insert in is also very natural. He told me he can't do too much because my skin is too thin. Seriously, i do not think that my skin is too thin. I wan my tip to be sharper, now its still roundish. I wan my nose to look smaller as well. I really hope that my nose is still swelling and the nose shape i got now will not be forever.
My friends all said my nose has got not much different from before infact some of them said its bigger. :(

Greenies if you don't mind can let me see your new nose?

now then i see alar really makes the nose smaller n nicer too.. ahh... maybe i should have done it too.. :?

From my experience, nara will insist on he will do it naturally for you and when you tell him what you want he will say just do naturally.
That is why mine after surgery not too much different.
But of cos to be fair, mine could be still swelling therefore cannot really judge. Everyday i just keep looking at my nose see whether it's getting better anot.

quote="angelaxoxo"]hi all. have been readin this thread for quite some time. just a general question as im not comfortable posting my pics here..

i have wide alar..so i knw i need alarplasty. i am deciding between dr PUTT and dr NARA..i have thick nasal skin, and i know i can do a pretty sharp tip with an L implant without extrusion but i read that nara is conservative and hence will not do that? that presents me with the dillema of nara or putt. can anyone advise? esp those who've done with nara/putt.

just take rhinoalar (above) for instance, she has relatively thick nasal skin frm what i see, but nara did not really extend the tip? sigh..help appreciated..[/quote]

hi rhinoalar and greenies. thks for sharing your pics. :)

Greenies : don't mind me but i really think ur before and after has very little difference..like very natural. maybe it's the lighting bah. you should perhaps show us side view also..but anw, really natural..more interested in ur eyes though hehe! it looks like ur epi is healing well and ur dbl eyelid is nice. u did with nara also?

rhinoalar: i think urs can see obviously now got bridge unlike previously..the thing is, ur alar is considered ''little''? becos i feel its quite ok..like significantly narrowed and becos no tip refinement it looks abit round..sigh i have the same nose as ur ''before'' same alar shape especially when i smily..just that my bridge is slightly higher than yours..quite a subtle difference but i believe overall u will look better..

thks for the reply guys i am still in a dillema to visit nara or putt..

am wondering

Post by lane » Sun, 27 Dec 2009 12:59 am

I'm wondering, it'll probably sounds weird, but is there any cosmetic surgery that anyone can do to fix a flat head? Like putting implants on the head to make it rounder?

oh no, not the forehead, the back of the head, where the hair are.
is there such an implant, though?

Ya, thats y nara told me. he only do abit of alar for me. I would suggest if u wan a nose with sharper tip, dun go for nara becos u know he dun do tip. I feel that when i smile now, my nose is still big, so currently i dun smile too widely haha..

Thanks for sharing your photo. I like ur nose, dun think you need alar and can see the bridge is higher now. When u touch ur tip now, does it still hurt? Mine currently when i touch the whole nose, it doesn't hurt anymore and i feel that my tip is not as hard now.

:o I don't know if rubbing the tip is ever good for a rhino-ed silicon implant nose, much less rubbing it HARD. Take care ya

also my dog sleeps with me on the bed. sometimes his hair gets in my face/nose etc. tend to accidently rub abit too hard especially asleep/half awake.
