Any Iphone Experts?

Post by Girl_Next_Door » Mon, 26 Oct 2009 6:11 pm

Anyone know how to divert phone calls for iPhone? There is a call forwarding function but that is meant to forward all calls to an alternate number. For most phones, there is usually a function which allow you to divert the phone call to either voice mail or an alternate number but I can't seems to be able to find that on the iPhone.

Any ideas?

Btw, I am using Starhub SIM card, so the FAQ on Singtel website, don't really help...

Singtel sets up automatically. You will need to:

a) Determine which Starhub phone number to use to divert your call to voicemail. I think this is 9850-1302 or just 1302.

b) Go to the phone app and go to the key pad.

c) Use the following codes to set up diverts (these are GSM standards).

**67*[divert number]*# -- when busy
**61*[divert number]*# -- when not reachable
**62*[divert number]*# -- when switched off
**21*[divert number]*# -- divert all calls

Don't include the '[' or ']'... just intended to show number.

After the *21 with the phone number has been entered you can use these to turn divert on and off.

#*21# — to activate divert all calls function (if you already have registered a phone number in the past).
##21# — to deactivate divert all calls.

I suppose you could program the codes into your contacts as well and make it even easier.
