Well, based on what Abercrombie just said, we might have one recruitment soon...
You might want to read a bit more carefully what he wrote, like you said yourself nobody really knows.

Plavt,

I just want to remind you that I am in Singapore and you are not. And some more, I have few friends are working as Cabin Crew as well +++...
For you, i think. you are not "FA wannabe" so i don't need to talk too much about that. Onemore thing, you are not God, you can't know everything, right? The things you don't know, doesn't mean others don't know.
If you have time, please read through all your posts before, its very critical not constructive at all. People come to this Forum to get the information, not to look for "Mother or Father" to teach them what to do.
As a Moderator, i think you shouldn't do like that.
For what i said before, you wait and see whether its correct or not.

Oh, and logic would tell you, along with facts and figures that SQ recruitment is on hold . . . and you don't need to be God to figure that one out.

Vaucluse,

If everything can base on facts and figures, we would not have the current Economic Crisis. Somethings can go beyond what we can figure out. Only the time can tell.

We had a great laugh down my local bar the other night when I show this thread to a large group of friends of mine who are either current or ex SQ FAs. They thought it was hysterically funny but at the same time quite embarrassing!

Well done, you have just shown me how confoundedly thick somebody can be. Whether I am in Singapore or not is irrelevant besides you don't know where I actually am or the work I just might be doing. I have friends who are cabin crew too - they work for Singapore Airlines!  I am not God? I am sorry I didn't know I needed to be but though I say it myself maybe I am then next best thing, well for somebody like you that is. :P

Wake up mate, read the papers see what is going on in the world there is something called a RECESSION at present. On the other hand if you want to live in a fantasy that is up to you.

This is very funny. Now you not only need to be 158 cm to reach the luggage bins, you need the reach to bop the pilot.

How do you know their recruitment plans?

Actually you guys are way off.The model now calls for more natural arttrition and then get new joiners who are cheaper and more malleable.

I shag flight attendants :girl:

I am looking forward to that. Why an Italian restaurant when a quick roti canai and teh tarik will suffice before seeing how malleable they are.

I applaud SQ for their new recruitment guidelines =D> =D>
