Miriean.

Well after 18 years of staying in one place like Singapore, I'm sure even i ll get bored, fair enough...
But we are not talking here about "What to do when you stock in one place for 18 years".
Most of us here as i'd guess spent 2-3 month in Singapore, we still have stuff to see, and truly i would appreciate if you would suggest any place worth our attention, perhaps as the most "local" expat you know the place better than anyone here.
Don't tell me what to do, and I wont tell you where to go.

Try:

Chartering a boat and sail around the coast.
Do the Henderson wavy bridge walk.
Trek through the jungle at Bukit Timah nature reserve.
Do the east cost cycle track
Spend a day doing a local cooking course.
Learn to do the trapeze.
Canoe on Mcritchie reservoir.
Try prawn fishing (very dull) but can BBQ what you catch.
Have lunch at the highest restaurant in Swiss hotel
Have a pizza picnic at botanical gardens
Feed the giraffes at the zoo surprisingly long snake like tongues

That should keep you busy.

and they are also very gentle. they won't yank back on the food you offer. quite amusing to see their tongues up close...!

No need to take anything apart from a mat or picnic blankets, all the food can be purchased from the various food joints, I like the cafe near the old main entrance, buy all your sanwichs drinks etc there and carry it over to the grass, or you can eat it in the cafe I only say have a picnic because its better value, if you do a take away pizza they will give you a free one. The place is even better during a rainy period its empty and the rain will only last 30mins.

There are a number of entrances. But I think the most accessible, most easily found and nearest the food court is the Tanglin gate which is at the intersection of Orchard Road and Cluny Road.

And sorry, I won't be going. Somebody's buying lunch tomorrow at work and we're having Japanese :D
