Heard that the recent tour packages are selling well from the news. So lets hope tourism picks up and more people fly around. Then if SIA's business picks up, they may conduct a recuitment soon.

I believe their next recuitment will be flooded with more applicants since they have frozen recuitment for a long time.

Well, listen... my sister's boyfriend's third aunt has a husband who works as a janitor at a ticket agent and he heard an agent talking to her boyfriend who works as a baggage handler at Changi who heard from one of the counter staff that one of the cabin crew who landed after a 14 hour flight had mentioned that the intake on her aircon was clogged and she would need to get it fixed in November.  :^o \:D/ :king:

SQ announced an 11 percent reduction in airplanes... being mothballed... and have delayed taking ordered A380's... going to take a loss this year... I wouldn't hold your breath... the only plane making a profit with 80 percent utilization is the A380.

From the International Herald Tribune dated Wed, September 9, 2009 - SQ spokesman Nicholas Ionides made the comment as well as saying average LF for the airline was 71.6%.

So... Way!
