did u do u do blepharoplasty for ur eyes? im tinkin i may need this in e future cse i notice my eyelids droopin a little..actually my coleek noticed it & now im fixated at it :p..r u happy with ur eye surgery?

yeah im happy of cos!!! some colleagues said i look brighter and the eyes look bigger and rounder.. of cos i dunno if they are exaggerating but i do find that they look bigger now.. LOL .. i did bleph cos pple had always asked if im tired/sleepy else i wouldnt do.. i did my chin to balance my nose and i did my nose cos i wanted a sharper nose.. some pple said its too sharp but i like it! :p

wow u did total make over.. gd tht tgs went well ..how long did ur eyes take to recover? u did all this & went back to work so soon? din ur eyes bloat? u are 1 lucky gal cse u heal super fast..gd on u .. u must look gorgeous now..wat exactly do they do for bleph? just cut out a pc of e excess skin & sew bac? i read that some ppl get eyes that r not even, 1 big 1 smaller..cud i pm u? m very interested in bleph maybe 2-3yrs later..waiting till my eye droop further hahaha..did u do bleph on ur lower eyelids as well?

my eyes swell la.. took leave to be away went back to work on 11th day and remove stitches on 10th day.

yes take out excess fats and excess skin an sew back.. LOL.. i plan to do my eyes once in 5yrs? depending on droopiness cos im born with droopy eyes... doc said the shape of my eyes droop down so he cant do much.. poor doc.. :p most pple's eyes are not symmetrical to start with, u can tell the doc to cut it such that the difference is not tat big.. my SO's mum say with a little imperfections then will look perfect... which i agree.. then wil look not so plastic moreover i sharpened all my features..

i didnt do lower bleph cos i dun have eye bags, but my customer who also had PS told me we can do only max 2 times lower bleph for ur whole life... and her doc was WW.. so dun do tat too young..

Lower blepharoplasty can be done more than once

A lower blepharoplasty can be done usually no more than twice in a lifetime of a person because of the fear of changing the shape of the eyelids. A revision of the lower eyelids is not that unusual, and very rarely someone might need a third operation.

But the key thing to understand is that a "lower blepharoplasty" is not just one operation that you keep doing over and over again. There are about 10 different ways to operate on the lower eyelids. Usually, in a revision, you try to UNDO what was done before.

For example, if too much fat was removed, you can replace it or reposition it. If the lower lids were pulled down, you bring them back up with a canthopexy or by making the lower lids shorter. If a lot of fine skin wrinkling was left, you can make the lower lids smoother with laser resurfacing (and sometimes a little Botox).

Each Additional Eyelid Surgery Adds More Risk

Surgery can be repeated on the eyelids more than once. Each time the eyelids are operated on scar tissue forms. This scar tissue can pull the lid down ( retraction or ectropion). This is more likely to occur if the surgery is performed through a skin incision ( transcutaneous) versus through the conjunctiva ( transconjunctival). When the incision is made through the skin there is a septum that becomes shortened which can retract the lid. Most patients that have eyelid surgery usually will not need a touch up for at least 10 years. Preventive measures are best. So chose an Ocular Plastic or skilled Cosmetic Surgeon the first time you have eyelid surgerywhich can avoid early reoperations.

I just took out my wisdom tooth at alexandra hospital and the doc, Dr silva, also specialise in chin implants.

I was wondering if i should do it at alexandra hospital or find a private doc like Dr A.t. you mentioned.

Seems like all of you chose private doc/overseas doc, any reason for that??

thks ..hope u fil beta? ya there are PSs practising at hospitals like ES, GlenE, Mt E too..I tink these PSs r also considered pvt rite? Me wanted to consult docs at hospitals too but after awhile got tired & wanted to make a decision fast :p..I hear/read ppl say do overseas beta but i decided here cse feel safer & more convienient..

Ppl do overseas i tink cse got many famous affordable gd docs & others choose local docs cse trustworthy medical credentials/qualifications & convienient?? If ure comfortable wit dr silva, u can consider him..at least he noes ur medical bg? btw, wats wrong wit ur chin?

any1 did chin surgery before? im going Dr Hong and he told me that after surgery, need to stitch a bit to hold the paster to the chin area. 2 days later remove. Is this a common practice? any scar?

just want to ask im 1 week post op on my chin implant just wanna ask is the swelling normal? sorry if its sounds silly, my chin looks kinda big and round now its kinda obvious. Just want to ask when can the swelling go down?? hope in 2 weeks its gone.

Just want to share this info about chin implant. I'm still in dilemma whether do intra oral or external but after read this review from many docs I decided to do external. See below reviewed.



Chin Incision

Chin implants can be undertaken through either intraoral or external incisions. The infection rate through the intraoral incision is slightly higher than with the external incision but still fairly minimal. With the intraoral incision you do run a slightly greater risk of changing the way that your chin moves but in some cases this can be advantageous. External vs internal chin implant approach

I have done over 1000 chin implants in 30 years and over 95% have been by the external approach. The reason for this is the placement of the implant along the inferior border of the chin is much better via external approach. The implant is also more stable this way and tends not to drift upwards when healing. As a side the chance of infection is reduced. The 1 cm submental scar is very hard to find after 6-12 months

hi may i know if you guys did your surgery in singapore? i have receding chin and have done fillers twice and the second time i did it it just looked like a lump of fats and didnt had shape. though its btr than having none, im up for an implant now but idk which doc is good. any recommendations to which doc u guys went to? reply would be much appreciated. thanks lovelies
