Post by AlexRossi » Wed, 10 Jun 2009 4:38 pm

would you know the best 5 hair salons in singapore? i'm Italian and need a good hair salon that is experienced with this type of hair. the price doesn't really matter, i just want the best quality. preferably in orchard.

hey there

you might want to try le salon at takashimaya. i've never been there but i've often seen the well-heeled trotting out of the salon with absolutely gorgeous hair :D

yeai think the better ones are the pricier ones. probably team salon, reds to name a few. you can find them almost in many shopping centres in singapore

Don't think Reds is that great. Too many branches, totally overpriced. My friends often complained about their services.
Le Salon is fine but really pricey.... At least they serve good drinks.

Toni & Guy at Starhub Centre (Somerset). Look for Alina. But call to make appointment.
Hair Inn (AMK Hub) Suzanne is great too.

Hope you find what you want. :)

I like this place called "Maggie and Friends" at club street with hairdresser called Saito. Speaks english quite well even though he's jap. He's really cute too lol.

He's always very booked up though but does an awesome job - you have to call in advance since he's usually fully booked and you can't walk in.

*edit Saito has since moved on to "Belleza De Midori" hair salon is located at 238 Thomson Road #03-43, Velocity @ Novena Square S(307683) Tel: 6358 2900. Hair cut for Females-$70, Males-$60. Prices stated are before less. Recommended experienced Japanese hair stylist: Mr. Saito

Hi Max and Alex!
Try David at Toni & Guy at the Heeren, he cuts my hair as well as several of my friends some with corkscrew curly hair and really knows his stuff! He is the head of Toni & Guy Asia so is a busy man but is worth booking in a little in advance to get a quality hair cut.
I cant recommend him enough!
Enjoy!

thanks everybody for the precious suggestions.
Today I was walking into the ION and I noticed the Jeric hair salon.
I gave it a try and the result in not bad at all.
The shampoo has been a very relaxing experience and the haircut is ok.
My Hair-stylist (named Ryan) doesn't speak English but the receptionist did translate all my needs.
So I'm recomending this place to anybody! ;-)
