Hello,

Don't know if this is the right board but I need to get a company web-site done. Nothing too fancy, just wondered if anyone could help me with how much this should approximately cost? I have no idea & don't want to get ripped off.

Also if anyone could recommend anyone good?

Thanks

hello

I would suggest you buy a website template that looks pro and maybe use a CMS system like Joomla. the cost should be around USD $100 but it should look "pro". It would also give you some control over your info and how you want to display it.

then you will need to host the website and buy the domain name if you dont already own it

hosting should be quite cheap.

for the templates: check "template monster" in google.

Just reminder ! If you buy the template , be careful the picute used inside.
I read news about a company was sued by another company due to the picture used in the web site. The web site was setup by thrid party.

I would recommend a professional agency if you have the funds. www.upperstorey.com is a reputable digital agency here.

A quality agency. They're so good that their website doesn't work!

Worked for me, maybe the server was undergoing maintenance when you tried?

Man, I hate sites like that. Takes forever to load, sluggish even on a modern PC, and usability and navigation is terrible. And there's a special place in Hell for websites that start playing music without asking me first. :x

Well I bought a .com domain from Usonyx and made my friend (a Website Designer) design it. The Website or the domain itself coested only 170 a year and is very good with a HP or dell server... Great work

Edited by moderator to remove link already shown in Signature.

Usonyx the company is called and I must say it is definitely worth it, good Speed!

Singtel offers a package for business customers. Do a search for "bizweb singapore" to find out more. Sounds like it may be what you're looking for.
