Need help on what the best thing to do is in this situation.
I lost my iphone yesterday, and went to singtel today to pick up my replacement sim card.
They told me that because i've had the phone + contract for less than a year, they can't do anything about it.
I would have to wait until the year is up, then 'upgrade' my phone, which means paying for a new phone + an extra $300 + signing up for another 2 year contract!
They told me the 2 years could be reduced to 1 year upon approval, but that's still 1 year too many.
So now i am having to pay an expensive line rental every month, with no phone!
Should i just pay the $800 to break the contract and cut my losses?
or is there a way i can buy an iphone without the line, which would work with this sim card/number?
Advice on the best course of action would be appreciated!
