Post by carolynW » Wed, 06 May 2009 7:50 pm

My friend just got a dog, its already over a year old and needs some classes...

does anyone know of good doggy school or in the past we had dog trainers come to our home at night.

Dog Training

Post by Thaiclan » Thu, 07 May 2009 4:13 pm

We are in week 3 of a 10 week dog training course. It is run by Patrick, a guy who certaintly seems to know his stuff about dog training. This course is at eastpoint Mall but I understand there are other locations also. I'm sorry I don't have his contact details to hand but if you Google "dog training Singapore" that is how I found him in the first place.
I have 2 dogs and I was really nicely surprised that by week 2 both walked on the leash much better and totally stopped any pees or poos in the house.

They are at Turf City, but i think he does home visits too.

You admire Ceasar ? He has his own detractors who find his treating dogs as animals repulsive.

Since dogs are family...

For me, his results are great but .. not sure his method always work..

Do you live in a landed property ?

u need a lot of pet treats and a whistle or a click.
let the dog associate good behavior with the click sound, then pet treats and reward accordingly.
its not difficult, but need patience =)
