Private Drawing Lessons

Post by samery » Thu, 14 May 2009 4:20 pm

Hi,
I am looking for private drawing lessons, current interest is in learning how to draw the human body. Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction?
You can respond to this mail, or email me on [email protected]

Thanks

Your PM facility will not function properly until you have made 5 posts (spam control). Please don't publish your handphone number in the forum threads.

How's the art appreciation course ? Any good? Do you like it?

Haha... had wanted to attend one but was wondering whether it's worth the time.

Art lessons

Post by westernartist » Mon, 05 Oct 2009 2:02 pm

Hi,

I am an artist recently moved to Singapore from the U.S. with my husband. I am settling in well, but do miss the community of artists I had found in the U.S. For that reason I would like to find one or two other artists to paint with in my home studio on a regular basis. I teach private art classes here some days, so we would just need to schedule our gatherings around those classes. A weekly daytime gathering of 3-4 hours would be great for conversation and critique.

I work primarily in oil but also in pastel, watercolor, and on silk. I use nothing toxic and ask that you not use turpentine or solvents as I cannot be around them. It would be great if you brought your own lightweight easel.

I have 2 well-behaved dogs and use the aircon when I paint (OK, I use it all the time.) We live on Shelford Road, near Adam Hawker Centre and Serene Centre.

Please drop me a line if you are interested.

Thanks!
