Hi all,

We'll have a three-day weekend and those of us who will stay in the island should make the most out of it! Thus, here goes the plan:

10 April, Friday:
Science Center Singapore http://www.science.edu.sg/ssc/index.jsp
Snow City http://www.snowcity.com.sg/

Let us meet at the McDonald's in the Science Center at 11AM, grab an early lunch, then go for information overload. To relax, we'll go to Snow City... Entrance fee for both SCs is SGD16.00.

To further unwind, we'll catch a movie, "Fast and Furious," after dinner.

---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

11 April, Saturday:
Wild Wild Wet http://www.wildwildwet.com/

Let us meet at the gate of WWW at 2PM, do all of the crazy attractions until 6-7ish, then go to ECP for dinner: nostalgia for the "veterans" and an orientation for the "newbies"...

---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

As always, please PM/SMS me if you would like to join...

Regards,

Moto

Additional activity just in case you are interested:

April 12, Sunday, at the Esplanade

http://www.esplanade.com/whats_on/progr ... /index.jsp

Salute the ol’ stars and stripes as the Singapore Wind Symphony brings you familiar classics and fun favourites from the American continent.

Tap your feet to works from great American composers such as George Gershwin, Aaron Copland and Philip Sousa as well as songs that have always been associated with America.

Born in 1992 from Singapore’s first symphonic band, the National Theatre Symphonic Band, the Singapore Wind Symphony has grown into a well-established and respected group with festival and competition experience and awards. Its music director is Regan G. Wickman, long-time educator and music director.

Did you never get easter eggs decorated with stars or stripes?

I would like to join for Saturday. I would go Friday too but I plan on working so that I can have an extra day next weekend.

Still can not PM.

Hey guys.
Sure I'm joining the Friday day, maybe I'll reach you for dinner on Saturday.
I am going to Esplanade on Sunday, cause I'm really interested - who wants to join can drop here a voice and we can make a plan. I started a topic on the facebook group on that.

Ciao

Drive to malaysia for food

Post by Eugene Soo » Mon, 11 May 2009 10:17 am

Hey guys!

I just joined Singapore Expat and it is really comforting to see that you guys meet up often :)

I'm interested in joining your group for such events and I would like to propose a drive up to Malaysia next weekend 16th May. We could just enjoy the drive and eat good food along the way.

How does that sound?

Do email me if anyone is interested!

regards,
Eugene Soo.
