Hi all,

Lily will not be able to host this saturday's outing and apologize to everyone. Any suggestion where we go? I do not know how to ice skate but if you guys are keen, we can still proceed. As for afterwards, you guys keen on chilling in a pub?

I have been to this pub:
http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/brauhaus/

The food is okay. On the average, but for people who like beer, they have quite an extensive selection. Maybe around 50++. Alternatively, we eat somewhere before coming here (but since its a saturday, its important to be early, not sure if they accept reservation).

Otherwise, we can go to clark quay and pick a pub there. Or any suggestion will be welcome.

Any one still keen on ice skating? Count me in. For afterwards, i'm flexible as i don't have any other plan.

Great, so let's keep to the 1st part of the original plan:

Saturday 24th Chinese New Year Weekend Jan '09 Suggestion.

ICE-SKATING @ KALLANG LEISURE PARK then anyone wanna suggest something or we can just wing it.

Ice-Skating:
Meet there at 4pm. Standard entrance is 2 hours, $14. The rule is you must bring your own socks and gloves to be allowed to ice-skate.
* I have never skate before so I can't answer any question regarding this.

See how first...

You can contact me at dawgbyte77(at)yahoo(dat)com(dat)sg.
*Sorry if I am a bit unorganized, I'm trying to push through the sat thingie.

** Lily, if you feel better by sat, you can still catch up with us. Maybe skip ice-skating but perhaps dinner.

THe Ice Skating Ring is probably the best place to meet,
and revise the plan from there

I plan on skating and working up a big appetite

One point to add for ice skating:

S$14 is for entry only. Skates rental is probably S$3.8. Gloves and socks can be purchased there if you forget to bring your own.

are we gonna meet outside the ice skating ring? how can i recognize you guys?

please join the time and venue for dinner so i can join...

i suppose if you skate around 4, by 6pm you'll all be hungry and ready to eat?

i also checked the web site and seems like there are a number of F&B outlets there http://leisurepark.com.sg/F&B.html and it is just a matter of which cuisine to choose...

see you!

Ok, I know I screwed the last one off - I'm sorry, something bad came up and I had to put it off.

Let's meet at Karen's this Saturday as y'all planned. By the way, who is providing the food etc.? Are we going swimming as well?

PS: Plan for 1st FEB Sunday @ KM8 Tanjong Beach Sentosa - it's when it's happening on Sunday evenings as the waitress told us. Bring swimming clothes too. Plan is to meet at Vivo Food Rep for dinner 6pm then to KM8 at 7pm.
