Hi all!

Have been a lurker for some time--thanks everyone for all your advice! I'm finally deciding to post for a very important reason...I'm getting PS! I'm thinking of mandible shaving and maybe a nose job, but it seems like a cheekbone reduction wouldn't hurt either...all the plastic surgeons I meet with seem to have different opinions! Since my impending consutation/surgery date in Bangkok is fast approaching, I want to have at least someone else's opinion on what I should consider getting done...I'm starting to get really, really nervous! The physician I'm meeting with is very skilled at craniofacial surgery, which is maybe why he's pushing a mandible surgery? But other doctors have told me that I don't need one. I'm so confused! Maybe I just need a decent nose job. (Or cheek implants?) ARGH--can someone tell me their opinion? Obviously I'll take everything with a grain of salt (since I'm assuming no one here is a surgeon!), but I think it's helpful to just have an outsider's opinion. These pictures are pretty bad...bad quality camera, no makeup, etc., but hey, we can't all be supermodels, right? Thanks for any help in the meantime! Good luck with everyone's healing and impending operations!

i think u look very pretty already :D

if you really want to change something, then maybe a sharper face? prob why the surgeons suggest mandible shaving. perhaps u want to look into botox for jaw first? not so invasive and can be done easily locally

ur bridge looks fine. maybe alarplasty to get rid of the flair when u smile, which may also lighten the 2 deep lines around ur mouth

depending on whether u want the gaunt look like those models do, then either buccal fat pad removal or botox for the cheeks to slim it down? but the gaunt look can make u look older which may not be wat u want

Best Plastic Surgeon for Rhinoplasty Revision

Post by Inferno » Sat, 17 Jan 2009 2:48 am

Hi,

Could you please advise me a good plastic surgeon for following procedures:

a. Rhinoplasty Revision
b. Chin Augmentation (I need a bigger chin implant)
c. Forehead Lift

I have already got my nose screwed by Dr. Pat!! It has been a year and I am thinking to get my nose fixed now.. preferrably with someone who is good at handling caucasian features.

I think there are plenty of comments abt surgeries done by the thai surgeons in this forum. Maybe you can use them as your guide. Also, Dr Nara's contact is on the first page of this forum. By the way, while i was there, i heard the Dr Nara's nurses saying he is fully booked till almost end feb. Maybe you can try your luck to see if anyone has cancelled their appointments. All the best!

can i know what does it feels like to have the stitches removed from the face/body?

i hope its not too pain...

and another question, is it normal to feel discomfort or pain while wearing the compression garment on the lipo area?
initially it will be pain.. but e pain is normal.. as time goes by you can wear the garment very easily and the pain will subside more or less after the bruises when down.. However you will still feel soreness i guess..

I oso had a GP to remove my stitches.. for lipo he did a gd job and it heals perfectly. But for nose he leave some thread untouch and i only realize it aft few days, so i cut it off myself..
