International Schools- Please help us know more

Dear Friends & Parents,
As our nick suggests, we are soon going to be moving into Singapore. We have a daughter (9 years) who would need to attend one of the International Schools there.

May we please request your contributions from your experience about following?

1) Well Known International Schooling Institutions
2) Fees & Admission issues
3) Alumni & Track Record
4) Any other resource that you may think help us make a shortlist and eventual selection.

We can afford to pay circa SGD 2000 per month for fees.

There are loads of good schools on the island - depends where you will be staying and what you want. With that budget you should be able to afford most of them.

Probably best to narrow down the area you will be living e.g. will you want to be near friends / near work / near the coast and then look at schools (although some people do it the other way around to confuse the issue).

Also depends if you want to go to a school specific to your country e.g. Swiss / Australian / German / US school.
