Mouldy chair

Post by louy » Mon, 15 Dec 2008 12:10 pm

I have a leather chair in my room.

It keeps going mouldy. Can anyone advise ??
I have those de-humidifying packs around in my bedroom and stuff. Dunno what to do.

I have a leather arm-chair in the living room. That does not suffer from the same moulding problem.

What sort of food do I need to feed it.

Notice that my leather jacket in the wardrobe seems to have a similar problem. How can i feed that too ??

Lanolin cream works pretty good (I believe most leather foods are primarily lanolin anyway).

i use leather food for my leather race suit and jackets (no, not for S&M but for motorcyling!). i also use nikwax.

you should be able to find leather care/food in any big supermarket. ikea also do a leather care set for S$24.00. goto www.ikea.com.sg and do a search for ABSORB.
