I believe it takes about 2 weeks after medical for everything to clear and a final confirmation. They then take your notice period into consideration and work out the best time for you to start in accordance with their training schedule. I've yet to get my med results back...hella nervous. There was a slight hiccup too with my medical...i declared a few broken bones and injuries on my report and the doc asked if I had any specialist report on the current status of my injuries. The two injuries happened something like 14 and 4 years ago...i had no reports to show. She had to refer me to a specialist in Mount E on that very same day to get a new report. Abit of a bummer because I had to fork out a cool $250 for my inadequacy....bleah. Worst of all, she's telling me all of these charges I have to bear and possible scenarios that I can't get picked because of my injuries while she's squeezing that damn stress ball of a blood pressure monitor for my BP results. My BP shot up to 130/80. She noted that result down too. The horror.

Have you been selected too? If you'd like I can let you know the moment they call and vice versa. Anyone else out there waiting for their results as well?

Of course. To put it simply it really all just boils down for my ultimate love for travelling. Secondary reason is I've been working in the service industry on and off for about 6 years now so it's what I'm most comfortable doing. I have a dip of Hospitality Management too so it's a perfect fit.
hahs. thanks so much for sharing, shaun. :D

At least there is a chance for you to get in :D
I think you are very fortunate because SIA actually allows you to do the medical check-up again. Most girls did not even get this chance to go for another round of medical check-up.

All the best! :D

no of coz not..that's just an alternative for careless people like me.. :)

n i think wat caryssa said bout some others applying wit diff emails got shortlisted jus happened to some people, not all.. she did not say that its better to do that way.. she suggested to me that way since i removed my first application.. she was just being really helpful n sweet at the same time to add that some people actually got shortlisted that way so that i wont worry too much bout it n i wont freak out... :) (btw,a big thank u caryssa..it really made me stop worrying..hehe)

i dun think u haf anything to worry about.. dun think too much bout that..
..if you could only read my mind..

Well technically a normal reading for systolic pressure for adults fall below 120....and i'm usually at 95-100 for that. I guess we can call it white coat hypertension haha....she should not have mentioned this while administering the test. It's still a relatively normal reading through so it's alright
