motorised bicycle - the requirements??

Post by mulffett » Sun, 26 Oct 2008 10:33 pm

I am new to Singapore and am looking at getting a motorized/ electrical bicycle, but honestly don't know where to start.

Having searched the archives here, but there's not much info shared. Does anyone here know the answer on what is legal for an expat to ride, own, etc? What are the requirements for having a license/ or plate?

Does anyone have any recommendation on makes and models, stores to buy from.

Any do's and don't's?

What things should I consider when buying a particular bicycle?

Many expats are riding them in Shanghai, it's so simple and easy to move around with it.

Thanks for sharing
