In last 3 years I must have flown KF more than 200 times. I am yet to see a male flight steward onboard. In fact many a times my flight had all female crew including the Commander and her mate.
From my experience I would rate KF just below SIA and better than TG. I often fly these airlines.
Do grab it if you get an opportunity to work for KF. They are a very dynamic business group and seem fun to work for. They own the Indian F1 racing team and several football clubs. And ofcource their KingFisher lager is quite famous. Google up the Kingfisher bikini calendar. It’s a work of art.
Best of luck !

Hey Guys.. I freaked out when i read the news on the first link. I did lots of search on the net and came upon the second link as well..then i checked each and every indian major newspaper.(Kiasu) I know i would be crazy to say relax but this news is nowhere in the major indian newspapers. Until and unless it's officially in the major paper Times of india we should just wait and watch..I know things are bad... Even I panicked but I have friends who own travel agencies back in india and i've checked with them.. people are still booking for their Banglore-London flights for months in 2009 and they had no idea of what i was saying... I won't say chill but we have to be patient and wait for news from the base manager.. I'm sure they'll come up with something...

It sounds positive yet negative..Now I'm really wondering if we're still required by them...
even though they're a statement which says commonality in crew training... GO READ THIS LINK...
