The only evidence based method is through needling...
that is for instance the dermaroller
but for scarring you need the 1,5 mm needles
please let it done with anaestetic cream etc
you need a few treatments

Vitamin E works but not as a cream. Buy the Vitamin E capsules from a health food store, and using a pin, prick the capsules and rub the oil directly on to the scar.

Hi! I have also faced the same problem but then one of my friends told me about the online guide that has good ways to treat acne scars which I used as they were natural acne treatments and I tell you...it really made me feel better. Now everything is fine. I will suggest you also that try it and your problem will also get solved.

I have used Med-Derma and it works pretty good. Of coarse it was not completely gone but you could only see if they stared at your scar. but you have to be consistant with putting on three times a day. that is the hard part. :D

Cocoa butter and Vitamin E Pure Wheat Germ Oil from The Body Shop work really well for me.
Maybe u could try it?
I'll massage it gently around the scarred area and could see it working it's magic in just a few days time. (It depends on how big and deep the scar is. Small surface scars will fade away in no time if you treat it regularly.) Hope this helps. : )

Curently using vitamin e oil from the capsules themselves and yes definitely working for me, you just have to make sure that you use it everyday and as early as possible as the later that you leave it the longer it can take to heal the scarring, that and keep it out of the sun!

Reduce scars

Hi, you can try any of these products. They are possibly available in Singapore government hospital pharmacies or general pharmacies, eg. Guardian Pharmacy or even Watsons.

1) SMITH & NEPHEW Cica-Care™ Silicone Gel Adhesive Sheet

2) Dermatix Scar Gel

Quoted:
"Individuals often seek to reduce the impact of abnormal scars resulting from surgery, burns or any trauma that results in a break in the skin. As a natural response to broken skin, the body forms collagen fibers and a scar that will normally fade within two years; abnormal scars (hypertrophic and keloid) remain red and raised and can grow bigger."

"Silicone sheet helps reduce the scar size, thickness, height, and color of all types of scars, including new and old scars, post-surgery scars, keloids, hypertrophic scars, and other scar types caused by injury, trauma, and burns."

bio oil

I like how it is all natural, and don't just lighten the area. It actually helps skin heals itself. So, I would say Bio-oil! :)
