Landlord does not ask about pet dogs, contract does not say anything about having no dogs, don't say a word and bring your dog. Just don't allow your dog to eat the curtains.

HDB flats restrict the types of dogs that occupants may keep as pets at home. Approved breeds found:

I've got a neighbour who keeps a huge big rottweiler in a 4-rm HDB flat though, so it's all about whether anyone complains about your pet. Authorities in this country don't like enforcing any kind of rules apart from cigarette and alcohol smuggling, and the political types who dislike them and are potentially dangerous to them.

So feel free to break as many rules as you can without being caught. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Feel free to obstruct traffic when you're picking up your missus as well.
