Sailing Crew

Post by sg2402 » Fri, 05 Sep 2008 9:18 pm

Hey

I've been here 3 weeks and looking to do a bit of sailing. If anyone is looking for someone to crew then I would be happy to oblige! Just drop me your details and I'll give you a ring.

Thanks

Rachel

Hi sg2404, come to Changi Sailing Club. It is very sociable there. We join csc because it is cheap and it is the most active sailing club in Singapore. There is a twilight race every fortnightly. We bunk onto other member's boat all the time. You can just come down and have a look and try out some sailing opportunities.

Recently arrived in Singapore from Chicago where I was racing on a Beneteau 40.7 and would like to continue sailing here. Is anyone looking for crew? If so, drop me a note.

I visited the Changi Sailing Club website and the membership price is certainly reasonable compared to some of the other places. However it still was more more than the volunteer-run group that I belong to in Washington DC . . . and they don't require that I buy meals. Ah well.

I recently earned the B-KBS (basic keelboat skipper) qualification here in the U.S. and will be looking to crew once I get to Singapore in May. Drop me a line if you need someone!
