What can I say? It is greyhound! In my innocent years, I have taken greyhound once, thinking it would be a good way to see America and experience its culture. I couldn't be more wrong. Greyhound is hardly mainstream America (or plug in country of your choice?). I don't think I will ever ride greyhound again. I just don't feel safe. I am glad that I live thru the experience with my head intact :o !

But getting angry and shouting is one thing....

Getting angry and attacking someone is another....

But something must have been seriously mentally wrong with the killer....

Most killers who murder through fits of rage do so with some sort of moderation, this guy however is plain psychopathic.....

Where's your head, banana . . . this is aserious topic, I'm all ears.

Having said that . . . cutting off his head? I have a friend who is a forensic pathologist and he mentioned that this is no easy task - a lot of anger or madness in the killer.

because this is one of those things that no one can rationalise except in retrospect.

because there's nothing anyone can do about it now.

because it is unlikely anyone on this forum actually knew the people involved.

yarrrrr....we be headed thatta way missy!

oh and hats off to you Mr V, good guess

Anger, when mismanaged, can lead to madness and destruction.

Just like everything else that involves human behaviours. I believe it is part nature and part nuture. I have met individuals that seriously do not feel angry when confronted with frustrations or injustice in life. And than there are those that would set off easily, like fire crackers. And one also considers how much duress and stress the individual has undergone.

I have read about war veterans that could no longer function nor integrate back into mainstream society after returning from war. They were forced to witness more horrors than their systems can process. And now they are trapped in a living hell. They could no longer relate to people around them, loved ones and family. Such human tragedy. All in the name of war. And more than anything else, these people were traumatised, rather than angry. And I believe they are probably peaceful in nature.

And then you meet people like KSL, who could happily chirp about his time in prison and army. Whose spirit remains unscath and is able to overcome. Way to go!

No doubt about that but the point raised by Vaucluse is it is physically very difficult to carve up a body. No doubt you have seen a butcher at work and even they after years of training and experience have to exert quite some force in the course of their work.
