But it'll be tough if I have to stop eating because I really love to eat. :P

But imagine being able to fit (again) into those clothes waiting for me in my wardrobe..Maybe worth a try!
If you love to eat and cutting back is too tough to do, then you're going to have to burn it off with physical exertion.

It sounds like you're not getting enough natural exertion with what you do for gainful employment. :P
Guess, that means adding exercise to the lifestyle.

Got to go.
Need to get my own exercise (rowing).
Ate too much at the department dinner last night.

You are absolutely right about that! Here in Modena, public transportation is non-existent so I have to drive. Just point A to B, no pavements either to walk on, no bicycle tracks to cycle on, it's quite a nightmare. The calories are just saving themselves happily and making me really rich in them... :?

I'm packing now and going home to do a bit of shopping exercise :D

Ciao!

Well done, SMS!! =D>

I'd love to hear more about it. I guess my questions concerning your diet, are the amount of calories/kilojoules the same for male vs. female? We all know that men tend to drop weight so much easier than female. What you ate, are they foods located at the normal grocery/wet market? Thanks!

SMS,

You are really inspiring loads of people and quite rightly.

You have obviously done yourself proud, and your wife.

I'm roughly same height as you, and have been on weight gain for years, due mainly to long hours in the office. But really that's just an excuse for embarrsssing myself over the last few years. No more!! :)

Your post has inspired me already. Please could you PM me the details, I would also like to follow in your successful footsteps sir.

Cheers,

Gilly
