lipo qns: how important is it for the fluids to drain out? what if they don't? i asked dr nara and he said then they'll just be absorbed by the body. so instead of being bulky from too much fat, i'll be bulky from too much fluid retention?! he didn't want to do lipo for me because he said i'm thin and don't require it (all of his lipo patients had been bigger) but i begged him to do lipo for my thighs. after lipo, because of the fluids and swelling, my thighs actually look bigger now than they were before. when will they become smaller? or they won't become smaller because the fluids were not drained? please help! i'm very depressed now. cried in my hotel room for an entire day because my legs look worse than before and because i think the doctor didn't remove fats from the areas that i'm most concerned about. he just brushed me off by saying that he did remove fats from my thighs (as i'd seen in the bottle/jar, but he mentioned removing fats from my butt too so most of the fatty tissues could be from the butt) and that the fluids will be absorbed.

My nose surgery went well...now I have a higher bridge :-)

I think Dr Puttisak is quite god...you can try to consult him about your nose.

He can give you some advise, consultation is free..

When my nose is ok lets meet up for gathering...

Not everyone need alar or tip refinement...

I only do nose implant...you can check with Dr Puttisak for your nose...

I think Sineech does help in the recovery process...

the swelling from lipo can be quite terrible, it takes weeks to fully deswell. Make sure u use the compression garments to reduce swelling and to squeeze into shape. Cold compresses may help

Will there be a consultation with Dr Nara before he operates? And will it be on the same day or do we have to book another day?

Well you can choose to book a consult 1st & book a date to do surgery or just do it on the same day, save the hassle...

Today is 1 week post surgery for my nose job...I'm very happy that my swelling is gone & I can see the same of my nose :-)

The tip is still abit swollen though...

Hey Keiko how is your nose? can see the shape & bridge already? Have not hear from you for some time?

hey Qwertyuiop and lil_ab,

I can't reply to ur PMs cuz there is a restriction till i've made more posts in the forum. Dunno how many posts required.

Anyway, mine is w Dr Pat/Tokai, pain isn't very bad lah. Pain factor is like 6/10 for the first one week, and mayb 4/10 by the end of the 2nd wk. Its day 25 for me now, and its literally normal already. 1st wk more of discomfort and inconvenience, cuz it'll hurt if u make sudden movements/laugh/sneeze etc. And gotta wear the breast wrap for bout 2 wks to a mth, so not very comfortable. After 1st wk, i only wear the wrap to sleep, i think its to prevent shifting and internal bleeding.

For me, pain (even now) comes mostly when i wake up from sleep, cuz of the sudden pressure i think. But it lasts only 5-10mins max.

Feel free to ask more questions. :)
