Hey there!

Finally, the Pulau Ubin trip is happening.. this is to fulfil the promise I made to some of you in Feb..

I've managed to get some time off from work this sat and we're going Pulau Ubin.. And don't worry about showing up on this event alone.. cos most of us are in the same situation :)

You may choose to cycle or hike for Pulau Ubin.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for hiking/cycling. You may bring your own bottle of water or you may purchase from the shops on the island.

The Sensory hiking tour only allows a maximum of 15 people. So we regret to inform you that only people who RSVP (by fri 18 April) will be given priority for hiking.

If hiking is not for you, you may choose to cycle. Rental of bicycles are available on the island.

Ubin Trip

Post by Samudera » Tue, 22 Apr 2008 1:11 pm

Hi Jewel,

Was wondering if the Ubin trip did happen? If no, would like to join in the next one if you do organise again. If yes, hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I will go there this coming Sat. Missed that place.

Cheers

Hey whynot, have you tried going to one of the FNDC meet-ups?

I know the first time can be daunting, joining a group of strangers for drinks; no need to worry they're quite a fun nad friendly bunch of locals, western and asian expats.

Bravito/whynot and anyone else interested, we could meet-up at timbre across the river from boat quay (besides the Asian civilisation museum) this Friday, 30 Jan at 7pm to line our stomach and get a couple of happy hour drinks and then head to FNDC together, so you can meet even more people.

let me kow if you're interested as I might need to reserve a table

I agree with Maltester1... And Awesomearpit is already organizing an "early" Friday get-together and those interested to join FNDC can just move from there!

The details and the "sign-up sheet" are at http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ftopic56843.html
