i don't think you'll get a proper view from expats whether or not it's recommended for you to give up your singapore citizenship to take on a european one.
you might be better off asking overseas singaporean (there's such a forum, i believe) who are currently located in europe instead.
but why don't you just first head on over to europe to work, and see how you like it . it's not likely you can just "exchange" one citizenship for another, right?
there's a route to take through various forms of residency, so why not go through it and find out for yourself if it's "advisable" or not. if you like it there or not.
thinking about an ideal life really is different from living the life. before i moved to new york, i had stayed only in south miami and singapore.
i thought new york's all that and what not. when i finally go there, it was a big giant shock and i needed to adjust to life in the city. i love it to bits now, though...
different people, different life, different views, different opinions. if you like europe, go there, make something of and for yourself.
