hi haiying,

there are a number of places you can go but depending on where you stay and more importantly, getting there since you're new here.

a nice place i visited a number of times is book cafe. a nice place to chillout with magazines and books to read.

http://yum.sg/restaurants/the_book_cafe/

probably can suggest more if i know which area you frequent.

cheers,
john

non drinker and non smoker seeks friends from singapore

Post by ratbag1 » Thu, 29 May 2008 10:55 pm

Hi my name is claire and live in London, im looking for some friends in the Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong areas. Im thinking of coming back to Singapore in September or October for a couple of weeks to meet new friends who enjoy no alcohol or smoking.

Ive been to Singapore 3 times i love its relaxed lifestyle and friendly atmosphere.
:D

Im also looking for non drinkers and smokers i tried drinking once and i hated it i prefer a nice coffee shop to clubs and bars as there to noisy and hot.

im also looking for new friends as im lonely and shy as being the only one who doesnt drink or smoke

if your male or female get in touch id love to hear from you.

thanks

:)

i'm keen on a round of tennis or just laze around the pool with a drink on sunday. let me know if there's anything on.

if there's any dinner event on during the weekdays evening, i'm ok too , provided i don't have classes, or deadline to meet... :(

need a break every now and then otherwise life will be monotonous

cheers,
john
