Cleaning Maid Recommendations?

Post by agoodfella » Sun, 23 Mar 2008 9:48 am

I just recently moved to the Singapore, specifically the Bukit Batok area.

I need to hire a cleaning maid for an initial cleaning of my flat (2Bed/2Bath). Can someone recommend a reliable / reasonable cleaning service and / or maid?

What should I expect to pay?

Many thanks in advance.

Check out my signature link middle column, second subheading. There are lots of useful links there including cleaning services. I personally cannot recommend any of them, but they have all been recommended in various forums here over the years.

part-time cleaner

Post by Paolita » Tue, 25 Mar 2008 6:30 am

Hello,

I was in the same situation when I first arrived. I used a company called Decision One for part-time maid. Since I have started work, I now have a full time nanny, but Irene, the person D1 recommended was absolutely fantastic cleaner, (especially the washrooms) and I am very picky!..She is also and is great with childrenm my infant son absolutely loved her. I think she charged 15 per hour, which I thought was a great deal considering not only she was good in all of the above, but she since she is Singaporean, she gave me full instructions on how to do things in Singapore. I also lived in Bukit Batok btw :) Good luck!
Her number is: 92718746

It's actually a glitch in the program that occasionally does that. I've seen it happen before, eventually it gets sorted out. It's always the same number as well.

yhanie_17, I hope you aren't advertising. Please put the name of the company and contact numbers here in the forum.
