vickyabc wrote:Hi guys

I had my surgery done last month with Dr Chuang. Eye, Epic, Nose & Chin

Stayed at Taiwan - Charming Hotel for 11 days! nice suite with jacuzzi & private suana room!

Dr chuang did a fantastic job. Great surgeon. I love the result thus far. Friends stil managed to recog me but they said i looked mixed- which is what i wanted!
Its been only a month, i hope my eyelid crease wont subside too much over the period...
Chin was the most painful part.. Couldnt eat at all!

I am willingly to share my b4 and after photo. Just email me @ [email protected]

how much did u pay for ur nose? will he post ur b4 and after pics on his site?
is it painful? r u put to sleep or under LA?

vickyabc wrote:He is not aggressive as in pushing u to do more surgery to earn more $$. I wanted to do kai yan wei and dimple too but he suggested me not to and explained in detail why i dont need.

i just told him what i want ie: abit of mixed look, nose tip (as i hv button nose) and i showed him a picture of the type of eyes i want.

Thou his schedule is very packed he is very patience in explaining and never rush througout the surgery. i was suppose to be on general anthes but i just couldnt fall alseep. so througout i was awake and aware! Btw he played some chinese FM in the surgical room too!

i did my eyes first. it was a friday. From 7pm to ard 9plus. im supposed to do everything eyes nose chin at a go but before me there was a singaporean gal doing jaw shaving thus he said it would be to tiring for him to concentrate on so many surgery on me on that particular day.

Following monday i did nose and chin. From 8pm to 12am! that was definitely a risk for me! He stopped after doing my nose and went to hv a quick bite before continuing on my chin.

But after the surgery they called a cab for me and make sure im safely back to the hotel.

I went back everyday to do some uv light treatment to speed up the recovery process. (Its free) and he will pop by in between his busy schedule to check on my status (wound, nose sillicon position etc). that was very sweet and showed me how he care for his patient even after the surgery.

im not promoting him or what. im just sharing my experience.

Overall im very satisfied. At least for now!

If you're considering about doin yr nose in Singapore, i recommend Dr Martin Huang since i'd done my nose & eyes with him personally.

If you hav any enquiries, do leave me yr email and hopefully, i can get back to you soon n help u in some ways.

:)

Hi Lene85,

I am new to this thread so I cannot PM you - I am keen to have my eyes and nose done. Can you pl email me the pics ? My email is [email protected] THANKS !
Hi Terrie35,

I'd sent my photos to your email. Hope it helps.

For the rest of you guys who wants to view them, I'm gonna upload my before and after photos here for you. It might not be the best plastic surgery compared to the rest of you or the world, I might not look pretty or beautiful to the rest, but it really changed my life & gave me the confidence that I never had, and i'm happy enough already. :)

Hi. Lene85,

Many thanks for your pics - these pics on the forum are clearer - yea, you look pretty and nice nose !

Hilo superugly,

actually i would prefer dr hsu bah cos his mtd does not involves any implants, mainly using your own ear cartilage or rib cartilage.

Does anyone know if Dr Hsu's clinic is located near kaoshiung city?? Would appreciate for an answer.

thanks

superugly wrote:i still cant decide whether dr hsu or dr kim is better. can someone pls advise.
some even say dr sukit from thailand also very good.
if we do it overseas and theres post surgery implications, are they going to pay for our trip before for recorrection?
do we need to pay and do follow ups from other doc in sg after e op overseas?

Hi superugly, i paid roughly around SGD 16K+ in total for both nose and eyes by Dr Martin Huang. Actually, i had done rhino at SGH a few years ago that cost around SGD 4K, initially the doctor told me he'll do this and that for me, but after the operation, he told me a different story and said that he only stitched the insides of my nose to narrow it. The end result makes no difference at all and i completely lost belief & hope in plastic surgery until i saw what Dr Martin Huang can do. Although comparing the huge jump in prices, but its definitely worth it!!!

superugly wrote:you look entirely different and so pretty lena!!! but how much did u pay for it? quite steep right? he quoted me 15k for nose! and i spent ard $8k on my eye ptosis revision with him 4 yrs ago
but its still not asymetrical and i thinking of redoing it again!
so sad

Lene 85, I think you look AMAZING. Congrats, you must be so happy! 16k is quite a bit of money but I think the change is worth every penny.

Eyelid surgery

Post by cherrycake » Sat, 19 Apr 2008 11:16 am

Hi! I'm new here and have been reading through the pages on PS! Have a question: is anyone here prone to developing keloids (bad scarring) and has done eyelid surgery? I have keloids and want to do eyelid surgery but am afraid of developing scars.

Are there any non-incision methods that won't leave scars?

TIA!

Thanks danita... 16K in exchange for gaining confidence and not hating myself anymore makes it worth more than anything else. Feeling good about myself after the surgery is what matters most. Thanks again for complimenting. Appreciate it alot.
