One of my friend got rejected due to medical test and I am pretty worried now.

I guess if you're starting in mid May, they will only call you ard early May to let you know the details abt 2weeks +/- before the training?

Since they have not get back to you regarding your medical, should be quite safe :)

Thanks ger.

Some of my friends that received their call and starting in May are those that was recruited in Dec or Jan.

How long will they take to send the rejection letter? I am like looking at my mail box everyday to pray I don't receive any courier letter from them.

Anyway, I think she was rejected cos of lumps in somewhere of the body, which she got to see a specialist for. But the weird thing is that, the specialist cleared her for it already. But maybe SIA feels its not acceptable?

Like her, I also had to go thru additional ultrasound and was detected a cyst, but I duno y I don't have to see specialist, instead I had to see specialist for some scarring in my lungs. But the Doctor cleared me too.

Hmm did your friends sign the contract etc already? Yup, it take them quite some time to call up individuals to inform them abt the medical. I think they go according to your notice period, since yours is in may, perhaps that's why they have yet to call you?

As far as i know, they will send you via email if you fail the medical. I've 2 friends who had problems with the medical too, the doctor cleared them and they are already doing the trainings now.

Don't worry, waiting for the call is always nerve breaking :)

Thanks cardinail!

For my case, i didnt get to do my round 4 interview on tat day cos i still had my braces on. So I was told to have them removed first, and then email them for a date for my round 4.

I think it would be a good idea to call the HR department. Anyone have any idea where or how i can get the number? I just hopr my application is still valid.

Hi, since your husband is a crew why don't he go to the office and ask them personally? You will have a confirm answer from them.
