Its just that it came all wrong for me at a very bad time. I dont blame her for that. She actually told once that she likes to have my kinda nose.. so perhaps she was bit surprised by the fact that i went for surgery. he he he.. i told her its just the desire for more which usually screws us all in life.. isnt it? :)

Moreover, she upgrades my order from tall to grande if I have to wait too long in the queue.. (So thats another reason for not complaning about her Shhhhhh its a secret, dont tell anyone  )

Yes you are right.. i am quite cheerful because i will be going back to states for a while and.... my leaves have been approved..
@inferno
o i c...so u r one of her "regular customers" lah...then i'm sure it's just out of concern...i was thinking she is a stranger and she just asked a question like that out of the blue...cos i encountered ppl like that at HDY, after PS at nara. those rude ppl r actually S'porean tourists, not the local thai (who r wonderful folks), they stared and they giggled, one of them, a middle-aged man said in mandarin, "not so loud, i think they understand chinese..." Thank goodness <happyliving> was with me, so i still have the guts to tell them off, "you can stare all u want!"

Going back to the States? R u born there? "ABC"? then u must have a pretty nose to start with in the first place. Mine is a big nose with bulbous tip :( the only good thing is that my natural nasal bone gives me a good side profile, so that's one of the reasons i was so pissed with k*** clinic, they raise my bridge too high!!

anyone replied this? i overlooked. i thnk that tipplasty can defnitely involve the reshaping of cartilage such the tip is a little higher. the prob with tipplasty is even maintaining the shape of the tip becomes difficult because you are removing and reshaping supporting structures. so it does take ane xperienced surgeon. thats what i think. of course, you can always ask the experts at makemeheal.com
an L-implant can extend the tip for sure, but not so sure about raising it. you mean raise the angle? When you do alarplasty, it squeezes ur nose a little and pushes it up a little, so that may accomplish what u mean by raising the tip :D
Are there 2 wys of doing alarplasty? I know a wedge is taken out from INSIDE the nostril and also sometimes the sides are cut (you can see scar from profile view). What does each achieve? Does one leave scar and the other doesnt?

I am interested in alarplasty but afraid of scars.

happyliving has infection on her nose again, her doc thinks she might be allergic to silicone... i think so too, so she asked me how

i suggested to remove it, but she might wanna keep her new nose, so i suggested an autologous implant... anyone has any better suggestions? dun want her to end up wasting more money :P

wanted to do BA, but after this super tiring trip, i dun think i can survive another journey. how i wish there is still direct flight..

can always do a transit in bangkok ;) if you think abt it this way, procedures like BA, even if you do a transit, the savings u make is still way more than that $200+ transit

Hi pple, remember me? I was the girl who commented the last time that my nose wsas crooked, turns out it was. So i went for my revision with the same surgeon last last. He was kind enough to make me pay an additional 1k instead of the 1.5k he quoted me. It was quite a nightmare for me cos i had a phobia of needles and I cried when he injected me. And how come nobody ever complained that LA injection was the worse.
I did request for numbing cream but haha.. I culd still feel the pain. Then
He took out the old implant and inserted a new one. He started pushing the implant to the middle cos he commented that it keeps shifting to the left. After which, he decided to take out the implant again and insert thru the other nostril..... argh... I was like hai... I tot it was going to end liao then he had to repeat the whole process again.... :???: So he cut another "pocket"in the other nostril and inserted the implant but it still shift to the left... hai... so he kept pushing... During the op, I could hear the bone grinding sound and could feel quite a bit of tugging and pulling, I think was when he took out the implant. So yeah, it essential to make sure no one hits no or there will be problems . I do remember once my bf hit me on the nose by accident and I had this throbbing pain and and to resort to taking panadol when I already stopped sone time back so I rhink this might have also attributed to the shift of my implant. and yes, in the first few days of rhino, exoect discomfort as the implant is also stretching ur skin so tightness will definitely be expected. I hope this will be my last revision. Results wise, currenlt, still straight and higher than before bridge, I hate the swelling thou, takes at least 8 days for it to clear for my first rhino.

Pardon me for my grammar inhe previous post, forgot to check thru it.If there is anyone who wants to know more, feel free to ask me as I have also learnt a lot from this thread. Somehow, I feel the procedures done in spore are not that pain friendly, unlike Thailand where they do try to make the process more comfortable and bearable by giving relaxing pills etc but the surgeons here do not provide, at least for my ps. I had to also request for the numbing cream. Also, surgeons here do not really provide revisions for free if anything goes wrong. So yes, its seriously abt luck in finding the right surgeon. What works for others may not work for you, sad to say.

feel like " jetlag" very nausea, it is very cold. we din had food from morn till ard 10pm.

consulation is pretty fast, u have to know what u wan to ask, dr nara is a man of few words. u have to JUST TRUST him.i ask him about alar, eyebag removal, double eyelid and BA. he say i dun need alar and there isnt any eyebag. as for double eyelid, even i do also no much diff, all up to me.

surgery is pretty fast. they tie me to the bed and i wait there. abit scare to be tied and cos of muscle ache from the coach ride, i keep figet ard. they put guage ard my mouth, quite difficult to talk.
the nurses clean my nose with damp cotton bud. once dr nara is in the operation room, everything is pretty fast. he talks to me for awhile, ask me where am i from, who recommend me, i told him about this forum.
before the nurse jab me, he told me i have to breathe through my mouth cos have to stuff cotton bub in my nose. i dun feel any severe pain but can sense what's goin on ard me.

day 1(surgery day): went shopping right after surgery. nose swollen
day2: abit of bruise ard eyes, start to swell
day3: eyes and nose pretty swollen.

steak in sizzler really superb.
