Brunch @ Pete's Place, Sunday 2nd March 12pm

Post by Leela » Wed, 27 Feb 2008 10:47 am

For all those who said in a previous thread that they would be up for brunch this Sunday, this is your chance.

Restaurant: Pete's Place, Grand Hyatt Singapore.
Address: Basement, Grand Wing, 10-12 Scotts Road Orchard Road.
Cuisine: Italian.
Cost: $45++

Anyone interested needs to let me know so that I can book a table big enough for everyone. Add your name to the list only if you really intend to go.

Attendees:
1. Leela
2. JermD
3. Asdracles?

Will be there!!

Only problem is that I will be free just at 12 noon, so I will arrive a bit later, but of course, any event related with food is a must for me!

See you on Sunday!!

Hey! Thank goodness I saw this just in time! Yes I'll make it this Sunday (I'm traveling again on Monday).

So what time is brunch? Not 12 noon of course! Or else it would be lunch! :P

So this is the list so far:

1. Leela
2. JermD
3. Asdracles
4. Asian_Geekette
5. Jivingjane

And yes, brunch at this place is from 12 to 2:30, which would be lunch in the UK and several other places, but I guess that many people get up late on Sunday and this will be their breakfast. It all depends on how late you go to bed on Saturday night... :D

Hey Leela,

Check Asdracles post above your recent post. He wrote he can't make it.

But there's still today and tomorrow to confirm, right?

See you on Sunday! :)

Thanks to all the people who showed up. It was nice seeing new faces as well as old ones. :)
I thought that the buffet was good and there were plenty of things to choose from. I hope you all enjoyed it.

Rebecca, good luck with your cat and Elyn, good luck with your landlord!

See you all again soon...

Leela,

Thanks for organizing this. As usual, your choice of place is always culinarily interesting. It was good to see both new and old faces.

Back from traveling,
A_G
