hey shiniestar,

well, i failed my mgmt last dec.
and yupe, am a part time uni student.

does it mean SIA allow ppl to finish their studies [within 6 months] first and start training immediately after grad? --> well, if you're singaporean (assuming u r currently doing ur part time degree course), and you've either diploma or o level cert which is equal to SIA's minimum requirement then... u can start training rite away tho~

as for me... i can't... am a foreigner... so, i guess..i'm left wif no choice but to finish my degree.... hopefully SIA'll put my case as KIV till i get my degree...

hope i've answered to your query :)

Why am I not surprised? This is a hint since I seem to remember you were or are applying to BA. :P

Hello shinestar, yup i'm currently a FT student, got through my interviews etc too.

They didn't mention will they allow or not but i was told that they will only wait for 6 mths anything longer than that, they might KIV you. If they KIV you, i understand that they might ask you back for another interview (by the time you are ready) and "check" if you are still what they are looking for. There are cases whereby they are being KIV , but didn't make it through and vice versa.

All the best!
