We intend to get a dryer so that we can dry the clothes immediately after washing. iAre there any disadvantages in having a dryer?

Apart from higher electricity costs and having to sort out which clothes can be put into the dryer and which not to (as someone in this forum has suggested, by looking at the clothes treatment instructions tag usually stitched on the inside of the garment) there are no other disadvantages. It is a real convenience machine, especially when you have to dry something very quickly after a wash, a life saver!

U can get Dryer fabrics ( if thats wat they call it) that scents up your drying in the Dryer. I use Bounce, its sold at Tanglin Mall (supermarket) :;):

Yeah, we decided not to get a dryer, it's bulky and Singapore's hot. Getting the clothes into the sun seems to make the clothing more crisp.
