Dr Hsu: http://www.ychsu.com/

i suggest you go for autologus implant is better.. who want a fake nose which stay through out your lifetime... now nose surgery is so common.. is so easy to spot someone who had undergo nose surgery with gortex or silicon... esp those ppl who themself had undergo silicon implant before is so easy to spot other ppl whol had nose job...:)

Good to hear your updates once again! All the best for your healing progress and keep the positive energy going coz i believe its contagious and so affect the healing :)

I'm also very keen in going to Dr. Hsu for alarplasty and tip modification to reduce my bulbous tip. I've emailed him yesterday but haven't got a reply yet. Would you have any idea how much an alar and tip modification might cost?

Also by any chance, if Dr. Hsu does buccal fat removal?

Thanks so much, good luck once again. :D
Hi!

Sorry, I really dun know and therefore cannot tell. I did major job so it is different cost. Pls ask Dr. Hsu yourself. But knowing him, he must be trying to understand yr issues first and what can he do- before he quotes.

He is an ENT specialist. His other specilaty is Rhinoplasty. Except for chin implant he does not do anything else.

feline.eyes wrote:hi :) can i please find out from you about how the ribs are healing. i am thinking of using autologuous implant from the ribs too but am afraid of the scarring. i read that it is under your right breast, so is it visible if you were to wear a bikini (as in a triangle bikini)? i know you said you are healing well, but i am not sure if you meant your nose or ribs. anyway how does the scar looks? i know it is still early days :P just a little worried

p.s. as in a bikini like that:
h!
yes, rib is healing well. no pain. but i m careful when i move my back - not to hurt it or make my internal wound tender.

the cut/scar is now showing a pink colour. it should subside after some months then i can go for laser. the scar is right under the breast so despite not having the model's figure, my bra can hide the scar. (am trying to lose the 7kg i gain in last 8 mths!!!)

but if you really really cannot stand ANY scar then you need to consider abt yr own healing and position for the rib. i really think it is no big deal. you wont wear bikini everyday.... but you wear yr nose on yr face everyday :P

IF this is any help on my goretex and this autologuos op - my sis did not see me since Jun to Dec. she saw me b4 i left for taiwan. she thot my primary rhino was bad cos she too think it was crooked. but she juz saw me 1st after taiwan and told me it is weird.... cos my nose is straight and less swell. not knowing I had gone for revision!!!

Worse - she went for a silicon transplant 15 yrs ago and has a crooked bridge so she is snesitive to implants on other's face. on hearing dr Hsu's work, i think she'll visit Dr. Hsu soon! hahaha

hope this helps.

cheers,

Hi guys!

May I know how long do you have to wait before you get a reply from Dr. Chuang? Its been the 5th day since I last sent my email. Can't wait to get my planning some sort of grounding.

For those who chose Dr. Chuang, are you please with his results honestly? Any 2 cents worth of advices will be deeply appreciated!!

Cheers :D

hi everyone...pls help...thanks...

pls view my pics & suggest any good doc to revise my alarplasty scars...the thai docs can't do anything abt it...and i'm not looking for local PS, as it was one of the "well-known" ones that gave me these scars in the first place...and they r way too $$ for their skills...one quote $3500 to revise my scars!!

ImageImage

it is esp obvious in the 2nd pic, where the pic is taken from 3/4 view...got the "w" wedgy piece of flesh sticking at the base of my nose..screaming "she gor her nose done!!"[/img]

feline.eyes wrote:try sending your pics to dr chuang, dr hsu or dr jung. they will probably be able to give you an honest answer. best choice will probably be dr jung; he does a lot of revision and has an amazingly experience. dr hsu has a lot of positive reviews from his clients in this forums and they were all secondary rhinoplasty too. dr chuang seems to get a lot of positive reviews in other forums that i go to. they are just three doctors that i hear most often about but i am sure there are others around. just send your pictures to them and see what they say. if you want more information on those three doctors and read about their client's reviews, do a search on this forum with their names.
thanks feline.eyes...anyone can provide me with these docs' websites/email adds??

ellin18 wrote:Hi All,

As you all remember, i went to Dr Chuang's clinic for rhino and mephor chin last year august. Here is my update:

Nose: A lot of my friends said that it is very natural. After the surgery i was actually quite disappointed with Dr Chuang's skill. However, as i mentioned a couple of times before, he is a very conservative man and only do natural rhino with silicon unless, we communicate to him that we are actresses or on request .for garotex implant etc. Normally Dr. Chuang comfortable using silicon because it is safe and easy extraction. So far, my implant does not slant to the left or right and in fact it is very rigid and stable.

Chin: My chin is still very stiff.. I still feel very tight where the stitches used to be esp when I smile. I really hope the stitches wound heal well.. At times I am afraid that when i smile too wide, the wound will open... Anyho.. I am a much confident person now compared to last time where smile was a big no no to me.

The moral or lesson that i learned from this experience is that only do PS when you are mentally, physically and financially ready. Do lots of research and dont be lazy. I can guarantee you that at the end of that long road, your reward is priceless... like your new confident :)

Hey dear,

I think your nose looks good le lar..dont worry so much, at least it didnt shift around.
By the way, have you email dr chuang and ask him how come your chin reacts in this way or was it normal for the chin to be stiff?

Hi all,

I have actually visited dr chuang for consultation some time ago to have him look at my nose. He had confirmed that it is a goretex and not silicone! So for e past few discussion on what kalo is using ... the final result is that they didnt lie and it was really a goretex!
But in fact after hearing that it was a goretex, i was actually very disappointed as i though silicone would be better if i want to do revision and can do it in future then. Dr chuang said that if i want to have a revision, it would be better to do it before im 40years old and that will be in 20 years time. He also said that i will definately need a revision!

Im seriously considering a revision now upon hearing that it is a goretex and the bit slanted look of my nose bridge. Furthermore, my nose bridge looks too high, thats why it looks abit fake (too high for an asian) and my nose tip is not lowered enough!
Seriously, im really not satisfied with kalo's work .. as they left me scars..

Am confuse in whether to choose between silicone rhino (Dr chuang) or autologuos rhino (Dr hsu). Still considering to do silicone or not because ear cart will dissolve completely in future time then might need to redo again???

Anybody have any idea how much does the ear cart (autologuos) will dissolve or does autologuos rhino last for a life time??
