company report: how to?

Post by luxiana » Fri, 11 Jan 2008 3:41 pm

hello,

the end of year for my company will arrive soon and the company has not reached the 100K taxation threshold.

the company that has incorporated mine is asking me around S$ 1000 to prepare the company reports etcetc

is there a way for me to avoid paying this amount?? (I guess these documents are just templates they fill up)

thanks!

Hi Luxiana

I think it would be better to get an experience tax accountant to do your company income tax filing to the IRAS. Taxation is a complicated matter in Singapore and shouldn't be taken lightly. Anyway, you can always refer to the IRAS website for taxation matters and you can even call directly for more information. Here is the relevant website regarding your 100K threshold : http://www.iras.gov.sg/ESVPortal/ct/ct_ ... +rates.asp

Please refer to the FAQ - tax exemption scheme for new start-up companies too.

Hope this help
