query

Post by shopaholic » Tue, 09 Oct 2007 10:31 pm

Hi all, I sent in my application rather late, on 3rd October and I made sure to send by speed post so that the application would arrive on the 4th. But no news from them (it's already the 9th) so am feeling a little let down. Am wondering if my application's been tossed into the bin or been KIV until the next recruitment..

Congrates to those who are shortlisted.

On that day of interview, just stay calm and speak steadily. Smile more and preferably wear skirt with blouse for the interview. Stockings may not be necessary, cause i din wear one for mine interview either. :P

Remember to keep your posture well at all times!! :D

GOOD LUCK!!

i'm not too sure how the interviews will be conducted this time round. But the one i went during sept, all interviews are done within a day. You'll getta knw you're selected by evening.

Since this time the interviews are spread into 2days, i doubt so. It's better that you wear something similar to their uniform style. Cause 1st impression is very impt, plus they wanna see how you look in business wear.

I am new here. I have one question regarding the Chinese passage.
Is it a must for us to be able to read Chinese?

Thank you. :D

i guess the last time i tried i was really nervous and stern and i wasnt confident enough and didnt speak well. guess this time round i improved.

no wonder...the previous interview i went, the fair gals got in...the dark ones all out. Are you as fair as Cyndi Wong or those taiwanese gers?
I can see my chances are not high....

Thank you Deer Bambi :)

The most funny thing, my GF get called by JAL and she can not read but she can speak chinese.

She has called JAL and tell them her situation but JAL keep insisting her to attend the interview.

Now she is hesitating whether should she goes for this interview or not.
