i heard some ppl from the forum said that too... those whose height is somewhere 1.58, someone advice that the day you going for the interview to strch yourself in the morning so that it will help a bit...
but i think SIA take your height quite a few times lo... and sometimes they will estimate your height 1cm below de lo.. so still have to be careful...
Yah, maybe pilates? also alot of stretching too.
btw,
Venie, are you a current FA with SIA?
ahahahaha... you're the 3rd/4th person who ask that question...
i'm same like you a wannabes.. my dream haven come true yet...
tried 7 times so have a little experience and know a little what they want lo...
I hope that one day i can be one and all of you out there too... just dun be dishearten and keep on trying.. if a small failure like this also cannot handle next time how to do "big business"??? lolx...
good luck to all...
my height juz nice, juz hit the minimum requirement of 1.58m height... In dilemma whether to go for 11Sept interview as well... haiz... The height measuring machine seems inaccurate... I'm 1.58m last measured but went walk in interview measured as 157.7cm den kana booted out... haiz.. worried:(

I'm also afraid of gettin booted AGAIN aft measurin my ht.. Quite disappointin.... But if dun try, seems like nv even gif ourselves a chance... Tink dis time round wont b so strict ba... cuz onli shortlisted candidates get to go for the interview... unlike mass recruitment so many interviewees, eventually they tend to b stricter... hopefully dis time round they can open 1eye close eye ba..

hey honestly right i think its easier to get away with height during mass recruitment as compared to this walk in
they will have time to measure your height using the height apparatus thing....and it takes 2cm off....

to those who wanna have a rough idea what will it be like for the coming interview..
you might wanna read thru this thread coz some has gone for the sept 4th interview and they did post some comments so i think it will be something similar.. Hope that it might be of some help to you...
of course if you wanna know more, i suggest you read thru SIA Cabin crew's thread... it's lot of info there...
good luck to all...
Soaring above all

Hello Poo & Ms juice...
you should read the pages before this....it gives you a better idea what to expect...but from the people who went for the 4th September one...its actually much more stricter than the walk in....All the best & update us on the interview.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
