yay!!!

a few questions though, if anyone could help..

1. How impt is looks?
2. do we have to be skinny to have a higher chance? i mean, ever any record of them hiring plump gals?
3. As long as we know hw to swim, its fine? Is there like a timing or record needed during the test?
4. What else should we look out for?
5. How many interviews are there and what do they consist of?

Thanks alot ladies! =)

From what I know:
1.) looks is not as important as a charming smile and confidence
2.) BMI of 18-22 is the ideal for SIA if I am not wrong
3.) As long as you pass the swim test, it's cool, no timing or record. Just jump :D
4.) No idea, this will be my first time :D
5.) About 5 rounds (again if I am not wrong) but I'm not too sure how it goes exactly :( (though I know there is a test where you wear the Kebaya for them to evaluate how you look in it, the swim test and medical check up)

Hi Rurik0,

Yes. You are right. At this moment SQ will be recruiting every month and will try to clear the applicants within a month compared to the recruitment last time which was conducting every 2 months and at least 1.5mth of recruitment process, now is a lot shorter. It is because currently SQ is facing a huge shortage of crews because a lot of crew left after taking their 6 months bonus.
Anyway, good luck to those who are trying!! :)

Cheers!
Paige

it's not just the high turnover that they're recruiting often. one of the reasons why they do so is, t3 is opening soon. and don't forget a380 will be in use too-twice the amount of total pax onboard, same for crew. good luck to all.
